In a recent post on Instagram, 5-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton revealed that he has taken an alternate approach to his preseason training.
“I’m doing Pilates and Yoga for my core strength,” captioned the occasional-corn-row-haired Brit.
Sources reveal Hamilton has opted against joining famous LA Yoga Studios like WanderLust Hollywood or The Green Yogi, but has instead hired a familiar face and voice to be his private yoga instructor.
“I’ve had Bono by my side the whole time at Mercedes, so it just made sense to have him with me on the Yoga mat too.”
“Communication is so important, and I know that if we both bring our A-game, I’ll find my Trikonasana.”
It’s been reported that Hamilton and his long time race engineer’s exclusive session at a Los Angeles park has sparked much curiosity amongst fellow active-wearing, celery smoothie drinking Hollywood elites.
“Wow, thick black rimmed glasses are in now?!”
“I heard he’s the new celebrity yoga instructor!”
“I saw him teach Will Smith the Lotus Pose!”
In characteristic fashion, Bonnington played coy on Hamilton’s yoga prowess. However, it is reported that once the first Warrior Pose was struck, it was business as usual for perhaps F1’s most successful driver/engineer duo.
“The Cobra Pose…. Get in there, Lewis.”
“Downward Facing Dog all the way home to show our Italian colleagues…”
“Hold, hold, hold, hold, hold, hold, hold…”
