New 2019 Formula 1 aerodynamic regulations have already started working, with Toro Rosso setting the fastest launch time.

The first team into the sub-minute, the Scuderia broke the record on Monday launching their brand new STR14, which is in fact their brand old STR13.

“That’s how we shaved the time off” Team Principal Franz Tost confirmed, “we didn’t even change the car!”

“We even did it on used tyres!” Tost announced proudly.

The team rocketed to the top of the leaderboard, with second place Haas way off the pace with a 19 minute launch.

“And a 30 minute press conference” a defeated Rich Energy CEO WIlliam Storey replied, wiping away the tears with his beard.

The 59 second record is in stark contrast to the 3 months Formula 1 fans waited for the livery reveal.

“It just goes to show that once again,” Tost said, “we are faster with Kvyat out of the car”

All eyes now turn to the other teams to see if they could beat the record. Mercedes is tipped to go close this year.

“Our engineers have been working on a launch-party mode” Toto Wolff told us, “were it not for the TommyXLewis show we’re including we’d go pretty close!”
