Alfa Romeo has sensationally sacked Antonio Giovinazzi, revealing his replacement to the world’s media on Thursday before FP1 – Little Mole.

A popular Eastern European children’s cartoon character, Giovinazzi was shocked when news broke that he would be replaced by Little Mole for the 2020 season.

“ScUSi?” Giovinazzi replied.

“I’ve never even heard of Little Mole, the little sh*t!” Antonio said. “How can he take my spot??”

Sauber and now Alfa Romeo has always had a great history of developing young talent – and it doesn’t get younger than a children’s cartoon” Team Principal and Chief Mole Fred Vasseur told us.

“We’re all about the kids and attracting young fans” said Vasseur, confirming Little Mole would be partnered by the oldest man on the grid, Kimi Raikkonen.

Raikkonen was over the moon upon hearing the announcement.

“Bwoah”

“Yeah yeah yeah, I’m loking forward to driving with Force India or whatever the f**k he’s called” Raikkonen responded.

Little Mole, or Krtek as it’s known across the globe, is a symbol of care-free childhood, goodness, goodwill and love.

“As am I” Raikkonen replied.
